Founded more than 130 years ago, MPA serves Michigan's pharmacists, student pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians by providing professional tools and support. Although it has different categories and dues, the association's membership grants exclusive benefits for every member, including networking opportunities and a complimentary membership to a practice section of choice.
Other benefits of being an MPA member are access to a partnership with advocacy institutions and initiatives, such as the Pharmacy Advocacy Response Team, and the opportunity to share experiences and perspectives by helping on an MPA committee. MPA members can also support MPA's philanthropic arm, the Michigan Pharmacy Foundation, which awards student pharmacists with scholarships and develops leadership programs and projects that promote the pharmacists' profession.
